Inspection Readiness

Build a structured pre-opening self-inspection process before the regulator arrives.

Educational information: Requirements can change and may vary by pharmacy type, ownership, service, payer, and jurisdiction. Confirm current requirements with official agencies and qualified professionals.

Map requirements to evidence

For each applicable requirement, identify the evidence that demonstrates readiness: equipment, posting, record, policy, physical layout, license, training record, security control, or workflow.

Run a mock inspection

Walk through the pharmacy as an inspector might, checking facility, storage, controlled substances, records, policies, signage, references, security, refrigeration, staffing, and workflow.

Close gaps before opening

Track each deficiency to an owner, due date, corrective action, and proof of completion. Reinspect high-risk items before the official inspection.
